Plans and credits

Every plan includes every model and tool, Line CLI, Cosmos Agent (Telegram included), Code Buckets and pay-as-you-go access to the Model API and Agent API. Compare plans, usage resets and credits.

Clatter Labs billing has two parts, and every account has both:

  • A plan covers app usage: Line CLI, Cosmos Agent (including Cosmos Agent on Telegram) and Code Buckets storage. Every plan, Free included, has every model and every tool.
  • Credits (US dollars) pay for API usage: the Model API and the Agent API, pay as you go, on every plan. Plans never cover API calls.

New accounts start with $5 of free credit.

Usage multiples are approximate and compare typical use across the models; what you actually get depends on which models and efforts you use. Each step up gives more usage per window and per week. Plans are monthly memberships, bought in the Console under Billing › Plans (checkout by Gumroad); you can change or cancel from Billing.

How usage limits work

Usage is measured as what your requests would cost at the model rates, across Line CLI, Cosmos Agent and Cosmos Agent on Telegram together. Clatter Labs doesn't publish fixed amounts; the Console shows how much of each limit you've used (in %) and when it resets.

  • Usage window (paid plans): a window starts with your first request after the previous one ended and lasts the plan's window length (5.5 h on Developer and Plus, 5 h on Pro, 2 h on Max, 1.5 h on Ultra).
  • Weekly limit (paid plans): runs for 7 days from your billing date, then starts again.
  • Monthly allowance (Free): resets on the 1st of every month (UTC).
  • At a limit, new app requests answer HTTP 429 with window_limit_reached, weekly_limit_reached or monthly_limit_reached, plus resets_at and Retry-After. Line CLI shows the message with the reset time.
  • Cosmos Agent on Telegram also keeps its own daily limit per account; whichever is reached first applies.
  • Teams: a team member uses the team owner's plan and credits, within the access and limits the owner sets in the Console under Team. A request outside that access answers HTTP 403 team_scope_denied; past the member's daily quota or monthly spending limit it answers HTTP 429 team_daily_quota_reached or team_spend_limit_reached with resets_at.

Credits

Credits pay for API calls, at the price of the model and effort each call ran on; Agent API runs also pay for computer time, actions, browser time and storage writes (Rates).

  • Free credit: $5, once per account.
  • Top up any amount from $1 to $800 per purchase in the Console under Billing › Credits. Every $1 adds $1 of credits; they land on your account within seconds and don't expire. A purchase above $800 isn't credited and is refunded.
  • The Model API and the Agent API work on every plan, Free included, as long as you have credits.

Watching usage

  • Console Billing: current plan, window, weekly or monthly usage (% used and reset time), Code Buckets storage used, API credits, invoices and history.
  • GET /v1/account returns your credit balance and the last 30 days of usage (reference).
  • In Line CLI, /cost and /usage; on Telegram, /usage.

Running out

When your credits reach zero, API calls answer HTTP 402 out_of_credits. A run that runs out midway stops with status: "failed" and error.code: "out_of_credits". App usage isn't affected by credits; it follows your plan's limits.
